Eating yummy food is good for when you are bored! *licks lips* lolz. I'm not sure where I'm going with this, but what are your go to activites that make you not bored anymore? Are you the type who always says, "I'm bored"? To wat level do you dislike boredum? This conversation is most likely making you more bored. lolz o well. :/.

Yeah its really boring sometimes. I used to have episodes like that, when i was at your age. Now seldom or if they ever happen it never lasts an hour or two. Being a father to an energetically lovely daughter of 4 can easily overflow me of activities not speak of other things commonly i do in a day. I do freelance PC maintenance & other computer stuffs but mostly in the hardware side - im still dumb when it comes to softwares. Also i go online & bore others too (lol joke - this is boring anyway - lol again). Try downloading the stumble upon toolbar, they have great video selection at a random, i always go here when i feel like ive nothing to do. You can also try new things like really going into anime - try Bleach & naruto as they are an asian fav. Just yesterday i bought prince of persia : two thrones, amazing game but tough.
Or you can go out & count the stars or find a chick that said surely will get you occupied.

I don't believe I've ever been bored during my free time. I am occasionally bored at work, because my options on things to do there are limited. If there aren't any customers or side jobs to do, I pretty much have to either do nothing or just study banking stuff.
At home, though, I'm never bored. I can always spend time on the computer, either playing games, posting on mylot, reading blogs, or researching something. I can watch tv or read a book, and I have a lot of books. I can play with my son, or go for a walk, or play games. Or even, and this is going to sound really nerdy of me... I can pose myself a mental challenge. I can write down everything I remember about an event in history, or a conversation I had with someone, or even just a movie I saw years ago. Kind of a memory test. *shrugs* Yeah, I'm a nerd all right.

Technically, I'm not exactly 'bored' as much as I say I am. I only say it soo much for when I am not highly stimulated. I mean I can always come on the computer, watch television, etc.. I refer to this as being bored because inside of me I really want to be in some other place at that point in time. For instance, I could play chess games all day, but if I didn't hang out with one of my friends in awhile I could be wanting to do that. I'm glad you speak highly of yourself in that you think you are never bored.
I find it really interesting that you pose mental challenges like that to yourself. Yes, it is nerdy! You shouldn't be sharing info like that! lolz shhh maybe I will try it sometime.
Except one of the lines I live by is that reflection and speculation can only serve to obsercure reality. For instance, say you wrote down an entire conversation with someone you like because you secretly have been wanting to see them. You'll end up thinking so much, and reaching conculsions about them that you, even yourself would have not thought possible. I suppose it is not all that bad just that you will obsecure the true nature between you and that person. To what level is, though, a variable. I got this from quotes from Joseph Stalin. I'm not sure how out of context I take the concept of what he intended.

I've given up trying to be cool. I figure I can be nerdy if I want to, and anyone who doesn't like it can just go live their own life instead of messing around in mine. =p
"Except one of the lines I live by is that reflection and speculation can only serve to obsercure reality." That is very interesting. Actually I'm a pretty big introspection person, so I'll have to think on this one. I suppose I can see what you are saying about thinking about someone too much can skew your perception on what's really going on between people, but at the same time contemplating and categorizing relationships is part of what helps me keep my life straight. If that makes any sense.
As for the memory thing, there's actually a specific reason I do this. I have memories missing from earlier in my life, because of trauma, so it's a way I work to actually hold on to the things I do remember. Therapist-recommended originally, when I was 12 years old or so.

It makes perfect sense. The quote I was talking about doesn't always apply. You just have to know when to use it and when not to use it. I suppose I only use the reflection part in relationships with people. When you reflect on some conversation or relationship, the next step as follows is to speculate something between you and that person.
Say I reflect on a relationship with a past girlfriend N then I start to speculate that if I had done things this certain way things would have worked out N I am certain I know exactly what caused everything. I start to hate myself for it when in reality the past is the past, and it doesn't change.
Or this the example the one I truly was trying to think of say in the present someone hates you. Then you start running through ten things you could have done to have caused this. Was I not funny enough? Was I not polite? Was I being too nice? Is it the way I look? Should I try and change because of it? Then for some odd reason you remember when you went out with this person N you were wearing clothing that was not impressive. It was just your typical attire, and you begin to speculate this indeed was the trigger that caused everything, and you are certain of it. At this point your only confusing yourself.
Or if I reflect back on my sports career in high school N say only if I didn't get injured. Then I start to speculate that I would have went all-state without a doubt. I continue on with this, and say I would have been admired by the community, I would have the hottest gf just like John Doe, and I would have gotten a scholarship to the school of my dreams. You start to deem the impossible very possible and really get nowhere.
It doesn't apply say if you reflect on a relation that you were a complete d*ck, and you speculate that if you were nice then things may be different. Well, then you are most likely correct on an easy one like that. :).

Well...ah you bore me, just kidding, well I read comics when I'm bored especially asterix series and Archie coics. If this too doestn't work I spend some time on my PC, ususally playing games or watching movies and cartoons. This really helps me to shake it off and if this too doesn't work, I consume some energy boosters.( my final resort is actually sleeping it off)
