safest place you can keep your phone. any suggestions and stories?

Actually I really don't know where can I put my phone. I'm scared to bring my phone all the time because my phone (N70) snatched by someone I really don't know when I was in the mall to look for an outfit for our sportsfest. I really don't know how, where and who snatch my phone! I really don't know what to do. It's been weeks when I told my mom what really happen. I did not tell her in person. I wrote her a letter expaining everything. After she red the letter, she did not say anything to me. She was quiet all the time. But I know deep inside of her, she was mad and angry. I felt terrible when everytime I look at her. But after how many days, everything is back to normal. One day, when I got home from school, I was surprised! She bought me another phone (6280). On that moment, I realized that my mom really love me even I have done something wrong, she will do anything just to see me happy. I really love my mom!

Sis, that happened to me many years ago.. My cellphone is just right in front of my pocket and I was looking for jeans at that time.. There were so many people in the mall since it was during sale when I went there, a few times of looking at jeans when I checked my phone it's gone.. That time, I'm also graduating and I feel really bad about it even if my phone at that time is 5110.. I really treasured it and I was crying until I got home, I feel the same after having a new phone.. We're scared to bring it out all the time but I guess just keep it inside you bag or someplace that you're on guard of..

First of all, you can't blame yourself for the stolen phone. All of us make mistakes, some of us (Me) make mistakes all the time. Just let that phone be a part of history cause obviously your mother got over it.
As for the new phone, I suggest you have a small chain link if you usually wear jeans or if you have a purse, then you should keep it in there and keep your eyes on the purse all the time. Even if you're trying out outfits in the mall, you should also take it inside with you. Now that the phone is from your mom she expects you to not lose it again. She just wants you to understand that when you're out in public these things happen.
