new nelly? or old nelly?

i like both..
nelly furtado in her old album was very experimental with her songs, to the extent that others may find her weird. but for me, the album was a mix of her different musical influences, resulting to her unique taste in music..
the new nelly.. a lot of people have mentioned that she's just going with the flow, with all these pop artists coming out of nowhere.. but nelly remains rooted to her taste, despite the fact that she has come out of her shell, and again experiments with her music.. the kind of music that more people could understand and listen to, without straying from her own unique style..

i dont know about other opinions but for sure i like the new Nelly..She looks more mature and her song gene has a slight changing.i'm not sure if her old album was as good as the new one one..but i definetely prefer her new release..Catchy tune,awesome lyrics..way to go Nelly!!

I totally agree the new Nelly is all grown up and hotter than before... Her new sound is far more exciting to listen to. Its still Nelly cause her music is always different to other artists. Timberland is cool too, he brings a cool upbeat sound to all the songs he features on her album.

I haven't really listened to Nelly Furtado's old music, but didn't she sing songs about God, religious songs? Didn't she sing about her beliefs? Now she IS just going with the flow, wanting to make more money, be more popular, and do more hit songs, even if she is putting herself out there as a "promiscuous girl" and a "maneater". I like the sound of her new music and haven't really heard her old stuff, but whatever the truth is, I think she should stick with singing about what she likes to sing with. Because before she didn't have songs like "promiscuous girl".

Yea I like both her past and present style. I think she's just picked up a few of the latest influences and added it to her initial style. Her songs are amazing, she still has that edgy approach which makes her stand out. I like how she doesn't categorize herself and mixes with different things to create variety in her music.

I really like the new nelly because she's more exciting and somewhat 'liberated'. It's just right that she goes with the flow of music. I liked her previous albums but the newer ones are really impressive that's why she made a huge comback on the music industry. Rock on Nelly!

I'm with you, I loved her before, and I love her now. I think she's really updated her music and style more now and grown into herself though.
Her voice is so unique and that is what I like the most about her.
