Hi Friends and Members, I would just like to thank you for all your prays, good well wishes and support you have given to me and my husband, well as I told you that he would be having a brain scan and blood tests well this went really strange as this is what happened. I phoned the place to where he was going to have his brain scan and I asked her firstly about the blood test and whether he would be able to eat and drink anything before hand, she said yes but of course when he went there he was suppose to fast so he never had this but he did have that done today. But in regards to the brain scan he has to wait now until next Tuesday so I thought I had best inform you as to what exactly is going on as I said that I would let you all know how he was going and to thank you so once I do know positively I will let you know more details in regards to this. As for me I am holding on strong and making my husband have a rest every day so as to prevent anything else getting him down as we both wake up extremely early every morning and have had a lot to deal with every day. So thank you my friends and sorry for the delay in updating you on the progress of my husband's health problem. God Bless you all and thanks a millionxxx

I was shocked when I read this but we must remember you haven't been on my friends list all that long. I can certainly understand where you're coming from. I had a brain scan March 19 and have just now got my results and now I'm on the list for an MRI then surgery after that. Make you a deal I pray for you and you pray for me. This is a very scary thing for any human being to have to go through. I hope your husband is doing OK as for me I just take one day at a time and I'm doing the best I can. I've had no headache much at all for the past two days and I think prayers are holing me together with the support of my wonderful little family. Take Care. HUGS !!!

Thanks for the update on your husband Kathy. It does help when you know that you have friends who are interested in how you are, and supporting you through this time. I feel like I know you personally now, and I got quite concerned when you told us what had happened to your husband. It's strange how things work, isn't it? I feel like I've known you or ages and I consider you a friend Kathy, and friends are there for each other, even if we are thousands of miles apart. Keep your chin up pal, we're all here for you!

This delay must be difficult for you. I understand how it is when your spouse might have a serious health issue and you are waiting for tests or treatments to get started and then finished so that you can go on with your life, hopefully very much as before. If they find something amiss, I hope they don't dilly-dally around witht he information. They should be open and honest so that the two of you can make truly informed decisions.

Thanks for the update Kathy. You your hubby are in our thoughts and prayers. Those blood tests can be a nightmare. Sometimes it depends on who you talk to as to what your answer is going to be. I generally just don't eat or drink past midnight. I have found that works better for me. Do keep in touch so that we know how the both of you are doing.

Thanks for the update on your husbands progress kathy. It doesn't matter when you update us so long as you do get round to it at some point lol. I am curious at to what the outcome of his brain scan will be and I'm sure you'll do everything in your power to keep us updated with that. Make sure in the meantime that he gets plenty of rest and also avoid stress. Hang in there! We're all here for you any time you should need us.

Kathy, I am sorry,I must have missed the original posts regarding what is going on what your husband. I know that this must be stressful for you and him, but we have to remember, a few years ago many of these tests did not even exist and the only option for a diagnosis was often surgery. It is unfortunate that you have to wait so long to get these tests done and then even longer for the response. I have been down this route, havinghad someone tiptoe around in my brain a few years ago, I will be watching for your posts. If I can help, feel free to give me a yell.
