I'm using internal hard drive but I'm planning to buy an external hard drive so I can open my files wherever I go especially when I go home to the province. So which do you prefer internal or external hard drive?

Internal harddrives are far more a necessity than external. To select which, is not feasible,as external are treated as upgrades or enhancements. It would be great to have an external HD due to the fact of its convenience & availability.

I would prefer external hard drive, it provide the flexibility to work on any desktop or laptop as long as I have the external Hard Drive with me.
The only issue is to keep in sync of the data in the internal and external hard drive. It is alway tough, at time, I just got confusion with the file version, not sure whether the internal or the external drive had the latest copy.

Internal believe me its a lot neater having it in your computer. If you want to move files around just get a little flash drive from wall mart so you can transport files. External drives seem to always get in your way and they seem to not work as well as internal drives as you disconnect and reconnect.

My Preference is for External Hard Drives, because of their portability. I like being able to access my files from other computers in other locations.
