The Good, The Bad and The Ugly....

... that pretty much covers my day. The good: *I got a little bit more money today than I was expecting to get so I was able to play a bit. Got the kids each a couple things to add to their easter baskets and was able to pay a bit on some outstanding debts. *I found a couple of books that I've been just dying to get my hands on for awhile now. (http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/933645.aspx) *Managed to squeeze in a quick visit with my bestest friend this evening.. although we spend tons of time on the phone each and every day we don't actually get a chance to get together much. *Finally heard from a friend who moved out of town last week and was supposed to check in last Sunday but hadn't. The bad: *The bus system got messed up this morning and the regular 10 am bus that I was supposed to be taking didn't even show up so that put me 1/2 behind schedule right from the start. *I had issues getting some bills paid because the bank account that had the money in it is actually in the next town over and we don't have a branch here. Not much of a problem, I just normally use my card. Needed a teller though and that meant going to a bank machine.. taking the money out of one account... bringing it back to my bank here.. depositing it into this account and THEN getting done what I had to. Again put me behind schedule. *My daughter wasn't feeling well today so she had to come home at lunch time, which meant that I couldn't pick up a few more easter gifts as planned because she had to come downtown with me. *I got to do a decent grocery shop today but, as usual, came home missing a few of the more important things.. like creamo and sugar... The ugly: *Only one on this list.. the blinkin' weather. It went from heavy wet snow to slush to rain and back again all day today. Is winter never going to end? I'm so tired of it. I want Spring!!!!!
