Dose Aspirin protect healthy women from heart attacks?

we know that if you already had a heart attack ,aspirin can help to prevent another one,but if a man or women who has a hypertension ,45-years old ,not have a heart attacks before,does he or she need to have an aspirin everyday?

in fact hypertension is a crucial factor leading to heart attack,and people over 50 are suggested to take aspirin 100mg a day to protect your heart and artery.
