How many subjects in college have you failed?

We all fail, it's a fact. No one is perfect. I have failed a few subjects in college, but never in elementary or highschool. Mainly because I was hospitalized for two semesters and before that, I kind of went through emotional depression . I was in the middle of both sems when I was hospitalized that's why I wasn't able to finish it. I had to retake all of 'em and some of 'em I haven't taken yet again. Oh well, that's the life of a student.. there are ups and downs. I felt guilty, yes.. because I wasted money and time. But I know that there's no condemnation in Christ. I fail.. yes, but that doesn't mean I'm a failure. Don't be afraid to fail, there are second chances. How many subjects have you failed and how did you feel about it? How did you handle it?

I have failed some subjects during my early years in college bacause im not taking them seriously. I find the subject boring and irrelevant to the course im taking like filipino and theology. Failing a subject was nothing to me back then, its just now that im retaking all those subject did i realize how much time and money i have wasted.

I agree. But you would have never realized it if it didn't happen to you. God bless.

That's one good thing about the way our university does things. If you fail, you probably didn't waste money on the course specifically, because it's a flat rate. But it does suck having to retake courses.

I did not fail any of the college courses I took. I had almost failed one course due to missing a few days, passed by the skin of my teeth. I hope that you are able to make those classes up that you unfortunately were unable to complete.

I don't think everyone fails. I know a lot of people who have never failed anything. I however, have failed. Many times way back as a kid, but only a couple things in college. I failed calculus. No matter how much I studied I just couldn't seem to do it. I got it and kind of know it, but not enough to test in it. And then, I also failed anatomy lab because the teacher had a horrible accent, couldn't understand extra credit and made hard questions actually worth points, and was overall one of the worst professors I've ever had. Funny thing is, I took anatomy lab previously elsewhere, and had gotten a B+. I had also taken pre-calculus elsewhere, and got an A. Go figure.

Luckily, I haven't failed any subjects yet. But after this semester, I might fail 1 or two. Well hopefully not, but I'm still getting ready. I became confident on my skills, I didn't toght that I'm already on my sophomore year in college. That's why, here I am trying to cope up to my professors again. Haaaay.

Well after a very long semester of Elementary Spanish 1 in my first year of college, i ended up with a D. During the course she gave a crossword puzzle. I found this absurd. The other tests didn't matter if you had spelling wrong. But this one, even if you missed an accent, you missed the entire word. Further on in the semester, we started a new chapter. It was not required that you read ahead. She called on me and not knowing the answer, I instinctively went to the book. She proceeded to lecture me about how I would not have a book if I were in Spain. I proceeded to close my book loudly and explain to her that I never intended to visit Spain, and only took this class as a requirement. To top all of this off, I was in a car accident the night before her final, which was all oral. She could ask any question she wanted from the entire year. I proceeded to explain to her that I was in a car accident, and she reamed me with some of the longest questions I have ever had to respond to. Not many of them "had the proper pronunciation" according to her. I ended up with a D, and a C- is whats needed to move on to Spanish 2, which i need to graduate. I have to retake it next semester and she is the only prof. that teaches in the morning. the rest teach MWF 4-545. Oh joy.
