for the beatle fans, we consider them a great phenomenal band, perhaps the greatest ever.
why then did they go on their separate ways? they could have made more quality songs that would influence young songwriters of our time. is it because of their petty pride? is it because they realized their indifferences? is it because of yoko? or probably it's because they've already reached the pinnacle of fame, fortune and success. maybe it's true that when you're up there, the only place to go is downhill.
i bet some of us beatle fanatics know the reason.

Band break ups are complex things that can only be unravelled by the people involved. Being a Beatle is a crisis between being powerful enough to know that you can have almost anything in the world while being limited by your own world, frustrated by the million limitations prescribed by your own fame, a deluge of your own success, an intricate type of karma.
Its like a million battering rams aimed at your head every single minute of breath; each waiting to be triggered by the smallest qualified mistake you can commit.
Daily pressures for each, constant anxiety, the pains of a pedestal you are given when you take it to the summit of the craft.
Sometimes, people tend to like the idea of something new if they are mangled enough by what is.
I'm not saying I know exactly why they broke up. This is a general sketch RE: relationships.

Well, I've read a lot of articles and books about the Beatles. Yes, one factor could be that they reached the toppermost of the poppermost and they feel that they've done everything and the only way to introduce a new concept is to go solo. Yoko could be another factor because of her influence to John Lennon, a friend told me a story about the day when Yoko Ono fell ill, John immediately ordered a hospital bed and when they started rehearsing, Yoko was there lying. John was the first Beatle to move out of the band not Paul though Paul was the first one to make the announcement. John and Paul stopped writing together after Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album. John wasn't there in the last tracks of the Abbey Road album. The medley was recorded by Paul, George and Ringo.
The Beatles will always be Beatles even if they broke up.... Nobody can escape the truth.

I don't know, maybe because there was a fighting between Paul and John. I know something about it.

various reasons why the beales broke up: rivalry of leadership between john and paul, yoko ono, john's decisions flipped flopped between his group member and his wife, yoko, burn-out and the familiarity breeds contempt syndrome again between john and paul, among others.

I heard of lot of stories regarding their break up but of them use to mention this point that it was all because of john Lennon and Sir, Paul McCartney but i am not so sure about their true story. We saw Lennon went solo first, but i don't know the true reason. Anyway they came to this planet to rock and they brought a revolution to music......they rocked like no other

I don't think it was because they had reached their pinnacle, after all, they are as popular now as they ever were! I think that they just began to grow in different directions and wanted to do their own individual thing. They had been playing together since they were teenagers! It's not uncommon for any group of friends to grow apart as they grow older.
