Biology: An international group of scientists for showing that the female malaria mosquito is attracted equally to the smell of Limburger cheese and human feet.

Nutrition: Wasmia Al-Houty and Faten Al-Mussalam of Kuwait for their groundbreaking report "Dung Preference of the Dung Beetle".
