I learned a long time ago not to think that any person was gay just by looking at them. My brother is tall and skinny and mildly effeminate and could pass for gay, and he is. My uncle is built and totally masculine and could never pass for gay, yet he is.
I wonder, is this something that bothers you. I think a problem within the gay male community might be trying to figure out who could be a perspective mate. If gay men know by looking if you are gay or not, I would consider this an asset. No guess work involved. Just get to know each other and figure out if you are interested in each other. What do you think????

I dont often judge if people are gay by how they look, unless their clothes are WAY out there and obvious. But no, it wouldnt have been obvious to me by the way you are dressed.

I wouldn't necessarily say you looked gay. Gay people can dress and act many different ways, just like straight people.
One of my best friends is gay, and most people would never know if they saw him out somewhere. Of course, part of that is on purpose because he doesn't want everyone that he works with knowing about his personal life.
Anyway, I don't think there is a certain way that a gay person has to look.
