It's hard working full time at a job and on a marriage

I'm sure I'm not saying anything that isn't already quite clear, but working full time at a school that seems like it is going straight to hell and then coming home to give my husband attention is hard. My students drain me throughout the day...how can I work and come home with some energy?

Life wasn't meant to be easy, and it's that hard times that make us stronger, and makes us who we are.
Unfortunately, we can't eat the love we have our partners/children, so working is a part of life.
Yes it's tough, yes it's hard work...but it's worth it in the end.

I totally agree...everyone told me to leave work at work...the problem with that is that I am a teach for school filled with inner city youth in need of attention, love and support. Maybe I need to find a new job

I think you should take a break from your work for some time and spend it with your family. Time management for working lady is very important. You should talk to your husband about all the hardship you feel. You should ask your husband to help you in household core. You can also try for some part time job instead of full time, if your financial condition permit.I was facing the same situation so I opt for part time work from home, and now I easily manage my family, my husband and my work.

that makes a lot of sense and hopefully I will be able to work part time one day. Hopefully my financial situation will permit. This summer I will be able to work part time since I am a teacher and I think I just have to be careful not to get too bogged with what I didn't get done this school year. I have to take time out to give to my husband.

I think it is important to prioritize if you have them set up properly then you wont have such problems. It is important to leave work at work and to be at home in the time there. I think you need to work with husband at home equally. He should do the same. Share everything and home will be beautiful.
