I am annoyed at the people voting for Sunjaya. If the voting REALLY does affect the contestant's stay in the competition, then I am annoyed with the voters. I think it's just insulting to the other contestants or the others who were booted off the competition to see someone who doesn't have enough talent making it to even just the finals. Why did Randy, Simon and Paula put him there in the first place? If Sunjaya wins this season, I don't think I can stand to watch the next season.

I've just recently followed American Idol. I started watching it last season only. Last season was a good one because there were so many good talents and it was hard to predict as to who goes home or not. I'd probably watch some of the video clips in youtube or something to see the difference between the two.

There have been a lot of people saying that. Next season is really going to have to be great, but I'm worried that people won't even watch it to know. The commercialization of the show has really hurt it. I've been watching American Idol Rewind where they show the first season and the difference is so immense. I'm telling you...it's crazy.

Sanjaya is only on still because of votefortheworst.com Howard Stern and his followers are supporting this site to keep the worst ai contest on. They are telling everyone to specifically vote for Sanjaya. This whole site is garbage, they just want to ruin what american idol is all about.

Well the sad truth is that if they pull this off and really vote for Sunjaya, American Idol might really be ruined. I can't imagine who will watch it after this year if he wins. It will become a big joke..and then it will just go away.
Very sad

he gets on my nerves to. I think he should of been gone after the first time he almost was but someone still wants him there. I have seen alot of good singers gone when it should of been him.

That is true, but that just goes to show you that is definitely not about who can sing. When they auditioned in my city some people that could truly sing, had the look and everything were totally turned away! I just don't understand that.

That was wild. I had never seen that site and yet it explains so much. I admit that I have not been able to vote because I have to tape the show, but I will be so upset if he wins

Oh I am SO with you. I have no idea why he is even there...with the exception of the Vote for the Worst thing that really is UNFAIR!!
If Sanjaya sticks his tongue out one more time I'm so going to barf!

LOL...that is hilarious. He also gives you this look that is somewhere between sexy and deranged. I don't know what it is supposed to mean, but it is sad.

sad to say but the joke is on him. If he is voted as the next Idol, I sure hope he invests in a coach to assist him with singing and style.

But is the joke on him? I'm worried that it will literally ruin American Idol. I'm not just a fanatic, but I think it is a fun show to watch, especially out of the crappy reality shows on tv lately. Maybe we should start a discussion about that, crappy reality shows.

even though sunjaya hasn't sung very well he provides good entertainment, what with his hair and comments. he's actually quite funny and it's good entertainment to see the judges react to him :)

He does provide entertainment and what is even more interesting is that they have no clue what to say to him at times. I wonder what his family thinks. I can remember when him and his sister tried out. He sang better than she did, but she was a better performer. I bet she would be doing better right now.

I put Sunjaya on the same level as Leif Garrett was back in the 70's. He is okay for the bubble gum, puppy love stuff and that is about it. There is no way that he is at the level of Melinda or LaKisha. I hope this dilusion ends soon.

He gets on my nerves too. I don't think he is at all intimidated. He seems to be very confident that he will get the votes. He makes for great entertainment. You know how we love watching the tryouts becuase these nonsingers relaly think that they can sing~ he is like a try out every week!

you are right...He is confident. That is why Simon said what he did on the last show. He told Sunjaya that he was in his own little world doing his own thing and he definitely is.
