1980's Birthday Party

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of the 80's is, jelly bracelets, leg warmers, and neon colored shoe laces, and of course "stone washed, acid washed" denium. Also it was the time where everyone loved pop rocks, rubix cubes, and hubba bubba or bubalicious bubble gum, and far out sunglass. Decorating idea's bright color's like fushsia, neon green, neon yellow, bright purple were all the rage, accented with metallic gold cloth. And music was king, especially music posters, of Prince, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Poison, Def Leopard, White Snake to name a few. Hope you have a fantastic time, and I hope some of the idea's of flash back wow helped.

I haven't had an 80's party, but I did grow up in the 80s. I remember a lot of plastic beads and headbands with bows. For the girl guests, you could use beads or headbands as napkin rings. We wore a lot of acid and stone washed jeans. Maybe the invitations could be of stonewashed jackets. Colored denim was also popular. Hope some of this helps.

Remember Madonna In all her 80's glory? That would be a cool outfit for your daughter to wear, something madonna-ish. Punk hair, break dancing, big sun glasses, big gold chain necklaces. hope it helps
