Do you add friends or wait for someone to add you?

I am a lot like you. I don't handle it well either. I did learn that if I try and put myself out there that it can have positive outcome. Since no one can see "me" here, it is easier to do that. I will look at your profile and add you. Then you can choose to be added to my list or not. Great AV BTW!

I was like u before i was also the shy type and waited for people to add me on their friends list but hey i gave up the idea cos it was not helping me make friends and i was kinda turning into a recluse hence i derived a new formula and started makeing friends left right and centre and today i have a lot of friends on the net as well as real life and hey what is life if you do not know the maximum number from your own race and yes we can make friends but then the more u have it is the merrier and then in that lot a few come real close and some have gone to be mates for life and who knows ur Mr right might also be waiting for you out there so go ahead and make friends. Why do we need to add friends? Is it because we want someone to respond to our discussions and feel bad when they don't? Like in real life, I don't add friends easily. But if someone is trying to reach out and ask me to be his friend, who am I to reject him. So goes with myLot.

No I am fast at adding friends. But if they have inaprotate responces I delete them

I do add friends , i have my own ways of selecting people and i dont reject any friend requests. If i find any one arent being the same like they used to be then i dont even mind to delete their id. Here on mylot i dont think it would be a problem if i delete one friend, cause there are many many people around with hell lot of good discussions.

I only add those who I really know but if not I do not make the first move to add a person. I usually wait others to add me and then ill just add them too.

I didn't add friends at first (afraid of rejection, don't ya know) but I do now.. as I want many friends who share my interests.. I still very much like the invitations though! :))

I am also the shy type and don't like rejection. But, lately, I've been asking because it gives me better control over who I want to be my friend. That way, I can see the types of discussions I want to see. Most people will accept you as a friend, but you never know.

I only add those who interest me. These days i seldomly add people anymore. And i tend to accept just anyone who requests me as friend. But if they deleted me afterwards because i'm not answering their discussions whatsoever, that's their problem. I just accepted them because they requested.

I'm not afraid in adding friends and doing the first move especially if we have the same interests. ^_^ i also don't reject any friend requests (even if we don't have much in common)here in myLot. But i tend to be more picky when adding friends in friendster or in real life. lol =) like you, i'm also not that good in rejections but i don't seem to see that happening in the internet much like in real life. ^___^
