Who is responding to discussions? And who is just accepting responses?

It can be hard to get started on places like this when you don't have many friends yet. Also, lots of times good discussions just go unnoticed among the thousands that are started every day. Especially discussions about personal matters don't always garner a lot of attention from people who aren't already your friends. If you had a more general topic, you'd more likely get responses from people who don't know you at all yet. Once you do have a few friends that respond regularly to you, you'll find that they will also be more interested in your personal discussions.
