We sometimes get too busy that we find ourselves too lazy to cook but then you're very hungry. Would you take time to cook where you don't get to spend anything or eat out where you have to apy for what you eat?

I love home cooked food, it always tastes better. However I don't mind eating outside. There are people who are professionals and can cook very delicious.

I've actually started perfering cooking in to eating out. I can make what I want the way I like it. Plus it's much more cost effective. If I cook for myself I also have more of a chance for leftovers, and that makes my life much easier in the long run too. Though I must admit there are a few take out places that stay on my "eat from list", especially when I am exhausted or starving. They aren't fancy or anything, but htey are quick affordable and really good...things like chinese, mexican, an awesome sandwich shop, and a hot dog place....they make the best hotdogs, awesome toppings, and great fresh bread.

I don't eat that much, so I usually just grab a sandwich at The Second Cup, when I am there. I like their food, and their coffee is the BEST in the world!!!!! I like to sit down there with a good book or a magazine and catch up on the news. I also like to take my computer with me, when I go there.

I don't know.. Due to several bad experiences me & my other half have had with deciding to order out instead of cook.. I'd say that I'd much rather cook a meal for the two of us than have to turn to ordering out something to eat. Even if it's just cooking something easy, convenient & simple.. As long as it fills our tummies that is all that matters to me in the long run.. I know that there have been several times where we we're just to tired to cook or prepare a meal for the two of us. Or even there we're times where both our days we're rather hectic so we had no time to prepare dinner on that specific night. So we ended up ordering out. And we'd have several experiences such as this where we have gone ahead & just decided to order out instead of deciding to cook.. And they've all been disappointing experiences in the long run. Each & every time we had decided to eat out or get food delivered.. I honestly felt like we dished out money & received food that just wasn't at all great tasting.. Plus it was either burnt or they sent us the wrong order.. Or when we had complained they weren't willing to do anything to make up for it.. Over-all quite honestly.. Due to all of these instances that had ended up being rather disappointing.. I'd much rather pick up a few items from the local grocery store & prepare something that I'd end up buying at a restaurant.. That would end up being a lot tastier if it was made by me.. Compared to having to go eat out or get certain food I am wanting to get delivered or brought to me by someone else.. That way at least I will end up preparing the food the way I like it.. Without being disappointed by someone who had cooked it for me instead.. I prefer cooking over going & eating out or deciding to get food delivered to me.. As I know what is going in to my food.. And I know how I like things prepared.. That way I don't have to go through the headache of worrying someone may burn my food, or even bring me a dish that was not at all tasty.. Or wasn't the proper dish I had ordered.. I just find eating out to be all to expensive.. And more than a headache than anything quite honestly.. I just find when you go out to eat these days.. Or even ordering in food.. They charge an arm & a leg for the dish you are ordering.. When you can sometimes make the food at home for a lot cheaper.. Plus sometimes you get more for your money by cooking this meal yourself.. And a large majority of the time for me personally the food I have prepared ends up being a lot tastier then the same food I had decided to eat or have at a restaurant.. In conclusion.. No matter how tired I am I would much rather pick up a few things from the grocery store.. Even if it is something small or convenient.. And prepare it in the comfort of my own home instead of deciding to go eat out or have food delivered to my house as well.. I find ordering/eating out to be all to expensive.. And the amount they give you & charge you these days for these dishes is just a rip off in my opinion.. Don't get me wrong.. Me & my other half still do & will order out food for ourselves for dinner.. But it's only maybe once a month we do this.. Plus I find it always ends up just being a rather disappointing experience over-all.. I find I would much rather prepare a meal for me & my other half compared to deciding to order/eat out for food any day! . . Thanks for allowing me to share! xx

I tend to eat out all the time lately, as I live in a shared student house and the kitchen is disgusting!!

We keep things in the freezer that are quick to heat up - when we make a pot of chili or of stew, we make extra so that we can freeze some. Then, on nights when we're feeling lazy, we can heat something up.

i love to cook any kind of dish at home and i am happy with what i have cooked because i find it is more tasty than what i get at the restaurant. My spouse always said that he cannot get such food at restaurant very often. I cook everyday for every meals time and i love doing it as long as i have the stuff back in my stock. For me cooking for our own food is much much better as we can safe some money because the same taste of food is much much cheaper at home when you cooked them yourself.

I find that now that I don't work and do cook at home more we eat better and save money. I find that when I cook a meal even though some of the ingredient are high in salt or calories they are still better for us than the prossessed food you get out. I have also found that we have less heartburn when I cook for my family and we eat in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. I have also found that we have more money to do dinner at a nicer restaurant every now and then as well as other things. Take the time to cook you will see a difference in you will see a difference.

For me, I can really depend on how tired I am. If I am starving and hungry from a really long day, I am more likely to buy something and bring it home. If I am just hungry or don't feel like leaving the house anyway, I will cook up something that I know I can get fast. Thankfully, my sister and I keep a lot of frozen leftovers and meals around. We also have a pretty well stocked pantry so that I can make myself soup or something really fast if I cam hungry.

I usually cook for myself and the family. If we're all really starving, sometimes it'll just be something quick and easy to fill our bellies rather than preparing a huge meal that everyone will have to wait a long time for. We usually eat out for certain ocasions, or following certain events, but very rarely because no one is willing to cook, If nothing else, even a grilled cheese sandwhich or some soup can be whipped up.

I'd much rather cook than eat out. I like my own cooking much better and it costs less, plus I can control the amount of fat in the food.
