Tim "The Maniac" Sylvia vs Randy "The Natural" Couture. In my eyes this has got be the greatest fight that I have ever witnessed in the UFC. I mean yes that first punch landed turning into a knockout would have been great, but at the same time Couture's total 5 round domination leaves no room for controversy over who the better fighter is.
Couture is a as his name states a natural in the ring, I mean this guy is in his 40's and still dominating in a combat sport against guys half his age. Props to Randy and anyone like him who can dominate in their field for as long as he has.

I was so impressed with this fight! I was desperately hoping that Randy would win, but deep down I though Sylvia would get it... Total surprise and delight when Couture kicked the maniac's *ss, couldn't have asked for a better main event!!Randy Couture is definitely a natural, gonna be a shame when he does retire (was upset enough when he 'retired' the first time!)
Can't wait till UFC70 in manchester!!

Yeah, I am with you on this one. I wanted Randy to win from the start but deep down did not know if he could pull it off. But not only did he pull it off, he completely dominated. He fought the last minute of the last round with the same amount of energy, determination and heart as he did the first minute of the first round. Randy "The Natural" Couture is a champion!!!!

I don't know if it was the greatest fight ever, but it definetly was the most complete domination in a fight by someone who came in the fight as a big underdog. Sure underdogs have won before, but mainly from a quick knockout or a suprise submission. Randy on the otherhand never let up for 5 rounds, bullying a much bigger fighter and stronger striker. I think this fight shows what the true heart of a champion is suppose to be.

It was great to see both Couture,Hughes and Franklin all make come backs it goes to shwo never count the old guys out. I thought silvia looked real bad against him and he never seemed to take the fight serious until the first punch. Would liek to see ortiz fight silvia but think ortiz is over rated he just cannot seem to make the step to being a real champion.

I am going to have to say that I do like Ortiz and his style of fighting. I am a big fan of the ground and pound. But Ortiz's mouth gets him into a lot of trouble. Personally I have never been a fan of Shamrock, but the total disrespect he showed Shamrock after there third fight especially with how humble Shamrock was, made Ortiz look like a complete loser. I understand that he is a young fighter, but he needs a lot of maturity in the ring if he is ever going to be a real champion.
