This is wierd... I put tags on my discussion but some don't apper...

Hey friend only limited number of tags appear in the tag list. You can even provide hundred tags but only those which fit in the allotted space will appear. well it dosen't matters if you give one tag or ten.

i think it only shows all 10 when you look at the topic from the main discussions list. it seems to shorten it when you look at the topic from the topic's own page.

As you have probably know from the other responses, the tag line only takes so many tags. Occasionally, after a while, the ones I submitted are deleted by tags given by other mylotters. But most of the original tags stick no matter how many you submit.

Have you noticed that in the list of discussions the tags shown there are different from the ones shown within the discussions. I personally don't think tags are the effective but maybe i just am not searching right.

This is something I have never noticed. I think the most tags I have added has been three or four. I'm pretty sure if they are duplicates they aren't added. Maybe there is a spell check filter that blocks out really odd typos?

I didn't realise any of this. I guess that is a very good reason to tag your discussions in case someone else comes along and adds strange things. I have seen people add their usernames to tag lines, and mature content in discussions that there was nothing illicit. Thaks for bringing this to my attention.

I believe you are limited to putting 10 tags per discussion, response or comment. No matter how many you put in though only 5 show in the listing. This can be nice though. I had a friend who had their tags highjacked since they hadn't put in at least 5. There were some very mean and cruel tags put in and they would show up because of not having five in there all ready. I always make sure to put in at least five and if possible the full ten.

That has happend to others also. It must be a glictch or something. At least I hope it is.
