Human is always power hungry. We are using every resource thats available to us. How long this would continue ? Except solar and wind no other source of energy is unlimited. Oil wells through out the world may not last long. Water is going to be a scarcity in couple of decades. Bio-fuels also are not unlimited. So we should look at saving the power sources as much as possible for our next generations. How important is this thought ? What measures can we adopt to save the power sources ? There are some we all know like not wasting electricity or fuel.
Any suggestions ?

It is high time that we harness natural sources of power which are for free. Geothermal and hydopower can be tapped in addition to solar and wind energy to provide for the energy requirement of the world. The power that the Niagara Falls alone can provide, will supply a huge amount to cover the requirements of Canada and New York. Waterfalls of lesser magnitude, but of considerable currents to run hydroplants, are spread throughout this earth which we inhabit. Geothermal sources abound and yet they are hardly put to use.
Those who claim to be environmental advocates, are not truly advocates in their hearts. They have so much funding already and yet they never use that money to finance solar plants nor of the production of solar equipment suited for a household. They tell us that windmills can be harnessed too, to provide our energy requirements. Yet as we can see, little or none at all is being done to put this into practice. When shall these people act, will it be when it is too late? No surprise, that's how they always do it.

The speed that we are running towards a soon to be power crises is really scary. As you said the proper utilization of funding is a must in this regard.
Thanks for responding
Cheers!!
