Are you familiar with this one, a thing you see in the bottom of rice cooker every time the rice is overcooked. It is super dark in color and tastes bitter. This is what we called "overcooked rice" ha ha... I still remember that my mama avoiding us to eat it and always tell us that if we continue eating it we might grow hard-headed and mentally poor. Until now, it puzzles me how could this affect the mentality of someone eating it. So im asking you to help me figure out this, do you believe that eating "overcooked rice" would make hard-headed person and mentally poor?

I use a rice steamer that I bought from Wal Mart and it gives me perfect rice everytime. About this "overcooked" rice...can't help you there...but there was a time when my mother would overcook the oatmeal. UGH!
Now that was gross. If she burned it, it was burned all the way through. That's nasty. Strange though, she never ate it...just us kids.
