I am hoping parents, teachers, other family members or teenagers themselves will have ideas that some of us may have not thought of when dealing with teens...

My daughter works with teens every day. She is always talking about how great they are and I sometimes wonder what it is that she sees as fun in working with them. However, she finds that by showing them respect, they will return the respect. It seems to work for her most of the time. Once in awhile she gets one that stresses her out, but the respect thing must have merits...Best of luck !

I am wondering if other people are seeing that the teenagers nowadays are lacking some respect even though they have parents who have taught them the proper respect they should be using, also the troubles with the young offenders act in ontario is anyone else seeing that this act is not helping these kids one bit just making matters worse for parents to try to control the actions of the kids

I just think that society sometimes gives these teens the impression that they are in control and sometimes this is how it works when dealing with them
