Firefox is the best browser I think. Aside from the seemingly ease of use, it does not take take up a lot of your computer's resources. Firefox uses the technology called tabbed browsing. The pop up blocker is great too, it makes browsing so effortless. Of course Opera offers these fatures as wel. The thing with Opera is that it looks somehow complex and it has features which I find to be not of any use to me.

I use both. They work well togeather on the same machine and what one lacks the other picks up.
For a while I prefered Firefox. It seemed to do more and display more web sites better. But now it seems that IE has caught up or at least is as good.
It really is ony a matter of preferance. But having them both works very well.

I'm using Firefox. thats what i recommend to you too.
after all it is worth a try and its an award winning program.
Its highly customizable from the wide range of extension and themes to give you top notch view while controlling many things.
Security wise Firefox is better as well. The only thing IE is better than Firefox should be its simpler user interface (a bit) and its compatibility.
Firefox can be found on http://www.getfirefox.com

I actually use both. The thing is, I am running a program that makes it difficult to type long messages on explorer, so I use Firefox to do all my writing sites. Firefox also has a built in spell checker that I've noticed helps a lot.

Well, I usually use firefox. I tend to get a lot of viruses from internet explorer. And firefox is no doubt faster to run than internet explorer. Well, at least that's my idea.
And, firefox has its spell checker, which is really useful for me here in mylot. At least I would minimize mispelled words. Minimize errors because I tend to type fast. But it's still up to you which between the two you would choose. ;)

Firefox has an advantage about its security, their developer claimed that the latest release is more secure. Yes, that include what you're mention earlier, popup blocker etc.
While IE has an advantege about its compability.
I suggest to open both windows to browse simultaneously.
It's kind like back up plan.

many years we're using internet explorer but after my brother found out about mozilla firefox we eventually switch to it. at first i just had a hard time using it but later on i loved it. i like the most feature of firefox is that i can have many tabs as i want in just using one browser and also you can change it themes. it's that amazing?! and you can also have it free my downloading it (i don't know what site he gets that) and ever since were using firefox there's no error occur in our computer. but the disadvantage of firefox is that it's only have limited sites that you can view but in summary, it's totally great!

I like both and I use both of them depending on the site I will visit. there are sites that prefer firefox and I switched to this one. Internet explorer ever copied firefox's interface. You can choose in so many different skins for your firefox.

Firefox is far supreme to Internet Explorer. The w3c commission puts out the official web standards, and there is no version of IE that supports those standards fully. That is why some sites look better on some browsers than others. To render properly in IE, the page must be designed with another Microsoft product such as Frontpage. If you really need to use IE for something, download Opera and set it to be recognized as IE, otherwise, stick to Firefox. Firefox also recently announced version 3.0 alpha3. When it gets out of beta status, it is going to revolutionize how we use the internet and web apps.

Hi louiselai, I like mozilla firefox because it is very secured when compared to IE. It has an advanced security feature which makes it safe to use. I like also the add-ons, plug-ins, and extensions of mozilla, thus making it more useful. However, I also used IE because there are some websites that cannot be opened by mozilla, so I used it rarely.
Have a nice day and God speed!

I use Explorer most of the time because I don't have to add plugins and some things just don't display as well with Firefox. I'm still using version 1.x.x.10 of Firefox version though. Maybe I should upgrade and test.

This two browers both have its own advantages, so I like them very much.
Sometimes I use firefox, and sometimes I use IE 7.0. Using firefox, it opens some sites so quickly, espencially the pictures. However, some things can not be browered by firefox, so I must use IE7.0.
Both tools are good.
