Actually teaching porfession needs very much patience which is not found in all teachers. It is the mistake of selectors who do not give much weightage to the character of a teacher during selection. A teacher should be very cool minded person with deep knowledge in a subject at least. But today anybody is becoming teaching just because of they have scored high marks in exam. This should not be the criteria for a teacher. Very soft spoken, kind hearted, cool minded and at last having deep knowledge in a subject should be selected only. Then only this problem can be eliminated. Rude people always creates terror among students which is not fair.

I think those teachers who are terror are really intelligent! Thay expect so much to their students maybe because when they still studying they really take their studies seriously! So as a revenge they want that their student will also experience what they have done.

I think its because some teacher would like to give their students the impression that they are a force to be reckoned with. I don't think its something to like terrorize or scare you into studying until you reach a point you no longer want to go to school. I think its just because they just want to be "respected" although i guess they do use this sometimes to scare you- enough for you to follow them or do as they ask of you to do. Sometimes i think that teachers are not really trying to be a party pooper- as adults, they just know whats best for you. Just like our parents who are also at times- kill joy. These teachers just want you to go into the right path.

Some teachers use fear to control their class. Fear inhibits learning and makes students uncomfortable. Rafe Esquith, an award winning teacher for over 25 years insLos Angeles Public Schools, writes about this in his new book, TEACH LIKE YOUR HAIR'S ON FIRE. Read it. Rafe has a lot of answers for those who wish more success in the classroom. He starts by "creating a culture of learning" based on trust. He first earns the students trust then teaches them to be trustworthy and to trust each other. It creates a comfort zone. Kids like it. They learn.
