Feminist or house wife?

I was raised by a feminist who wasn't very attentive and so was my husband now we are what poeple calling us right out a better homes mag in the 50's which by the way didn't exist. So you tell me can you be feminist and a good wife and mother? I'm curious I'm running an experiment.
