Excellent answer hoghoney. We do share quite a few common interests, don't we? Except for the grandmother part, of course, even though we are similar in age, lol. I've been married for almost 23 years (next Saturday) and have a beautiful 21 year old daughter who I'm sure will give me that honor before too many more years go by. :) We also enjoy camping and fishing but I have to admit, as we've gotten older, we've had to pack more when we go. Hubby likes to have most of the comforts of home, so the truck gets loaded down with everything except the kitchen sink, roflol. Hi Mari, it's very nice to have a friend from the Philippines. My father had some friends from your country too. When I was young, we would visit them and I was introduced to many of your country's delicious foods. Mmmm I'm glad we share a common interest in making some extra money online. It's taken time to build, but with patience, I have managed to find several sites I enjoy using to make some extra money while I'm on the internet. I am always happy to help others in this venture as long as they don't mind earning from free sites. ;) When I get back from vacation, I'll be updating my profile page and the links with more internationally friendly sites, so check back as often as you like. My mother was in your situation when she brought home three girls after divorcing my dad. It's not always so easy to go back home after having a place of your own, is it? I wish I could share some instant wealth tips with you, but I basically stick to free sites that just generate some extra cash in my spare time. There is one good one that I can share with you since you're in the US, but it pays out in gift certificates. Have you heard of NetWinner? It's a pretty cool free game site that I've already received $175 in giftcards from since joining late August. You have to earn points, but it's free to play as much as you want & they do pay fairly quickly, usually within 30 days. It's not much, but since I play alot, I can usually count on them for about $25/month in Walmart cards. It is a country my daughter & I discussed quite often as she was growing up. Hi Jennifer, I'm Lynn. You're the same age as my daughter. I'm glad we have a few interests in common and think this is a lovely way to get to know each other better. :)

Looks like we share more interests in common than I previously thought, lol. Glad you took the time to tell me more about yourself. :) I have enjoyed photography since I got my first real camera in 7th grade. I was very happy when my hubby got me a camcorder for Christmas several years ago. It's been a great way to capture even more memories than the camera does. Now that I'm on the internet, I've found several ways to experiment with my images. I think it's fascinating to change my images into different formats and work with them for different effects. Last year I was even able to make a computer video for my brother in law that covered almost 20 years of Christmases the family has shared together. I look forward to playing with the new software I received that's supposed to let me convert that video to a DVD that can be watched on TV. I think it's just amazing what you can do with photography now. :)

LOL, well it does help to broaden the interest from just responding to your friends discussions (wink), but I still have to be a little more selective than adding ALL the interests. Just because I have experience with skunks & can respond to some discussions, doesn't necessarily mean I want one, you know, roflol. Alot of friendships start off as nothing more than nodding acquaintances. You see each other enough & you start to see the common interests you share. That can move on to familiar acquaintances. The more you have in common, the more discussions you tend to share & usually builds into a much more rewarding and multi facetted friendship. But you're absolutely right, friendship is all about give & take. After getting back from my trip & doing some catching up, I ran across something you mentioned about fighting the appraisal district. I think I could give you a few arguments to use the next time you get faced with that situation again. ;)

Hmmm, Hi zengguoxing I'd have to say my favorite thing is my family. :) Besides spending as much time as possible with family, I also enjoy reading, listening to music, photography and several arts & crafts top my list of offline hobbies. For my online hobbies, I like to make some extra money online doing the things I usually do anyway and I'm really enjoying being a member here at MyLot. :)
