What is it about people that you love/hate?

Perhaps love and hate are to strong to describe your feelings towards people in general. Like/dislike will do fine.
Is there anything about people (certain trait, quirks, abilities, etc.) that you love?
Likewise, is there anything about people, or the things they do/say that you can't stand?
For me personally, I HATE intolerance with an almost indescribable passion. Ignorance, in general, saddens me.
On a more positive side note ~ I greatly appreciate honesty (even when it can best be described as "brutal"). I LOVE people who are warm and tolerant towards others (regardelss of differences). And, I find generosity more than admirable. I also Love people who are constantly questioning everything. I think those are the people that bring about real change, make life-altering discoveries, and change the world by never following the pack.
What about you? What qualities inspire you? What qualities upset you?
Anything goes... :)

Hmm..
Dislikes about people in general:
Many of people's habits of judging first, thinking later.
Some folks' inability to leave me alone..well I should say how alot of folks like to poke their noses in my business, or bugging me when I go to places clearly to be by myself.
Stupidity. I hate it with a fiery passion..
Moaning or complaining over every little thing..a cut or scrape (I'm not talking about broken bones..literally cuts and scrapes), change in their lives when the chages haven't been around long enough for them to know fi they're good or not..I guess all in all acting like everything's a HUGE deal and just assuming things.
Likes about people in general:
Kindness. People who're capable of this, I appreciate greatly.
Those who try to be fair.
People who actually use their brains (lol)..in other words, like you said, people who question everything -- or at least most things.
The sarcastic or humorous people..
Those whose horrible experiences have made them better people. It takes courage to face one's demons.
Open-minded folks.
There's more but that's all I can think of right now XD

I agree with all of those actually. Definately, there are so very many traits that we view as either positive or negative. It would take forever to go through them all. I know I couldn't have listed everything in my original post, lol. +

Interesting topic. The main delineation for me on this is whether or not someone has respect for and cares for others, without need of direct compensation of any sort.
On the good side, someone who respects others by default and displays true altruism is someone almost everyone would like, including me.
On the bad side, someone who makes people earn any respect by default, and either does not care about others OR even worse, gives for selfish reasons.
Of course, human personalities are so complex that it is nearly impossible to list out all the traits one finds pleasing or repulsive. The above are what really matter to me.

That's very true. There are so many more qualities I admire and/or find upsetting than I mentioned above. The ones I did mention were the first that really came to mind as being the most important for me personally.
So, for you ~ it really boils down to the level of respect portrayed? I can see and agree with that. And, if we really wanted to boil it down to basics ~ we could probably simplify most qualities that we find positive in other human beings down to respect, in one form or another.
Nice answer! Thank you for contributing. +

Generally, I am an open minded person. I usually find something good or nice in every person I met. But there are people who sometimes irked us, sometimes it is even illogical. Frankly speaking, I don't like liars and pretentious people. I also dislike person who are so proud who think they are the only one who are gifted with such brains or beauty. They are pain in the neck.
Still, if we look closely to them, there might be saving graces about them. On the other hand, I like positive thinking people, light hearted, funny, and kind, who can't love them right? Person who can make me laugh are the best kinds. They can make your day bnrighter and lighter right?

Thank you for contributing your thoughts. That is a wonderful, beautiful attitude! And, I definately agree that the types of people you described in your last few sentences make anyone's day brighter and happier. :) +
