eviction

I am renting to own a mobile home. I lost my job and got a little behind on my payments.Now the "landlord" or "seller" is saying he wants the money in full or my keys to the house . Can he do that? Just make me leave without legal action?

Normally he cannot evict you on a whim unless it is stated in your rental agreement. Legally, he needs to give you 30 days notice and should file an eviction notice with the court system (this is not manadtory everywhere).
Has he given you notice before this?

Did you sign an contract with him? Look to see what the contract reads about late payment. Depending on the place where you live if in the states, State by state has thier own laws. You can contact housing attorities in your area to find out the laws on it.
