Parents are precious and can'nt be replaced by anyone.
Now a days parents are being betrayed & pushed into old age home .People does not have to look there parents.
In their old age they need our love and affection .
People are always rather bored with theur parents. That's human nature.
William Shakesphere has quoted"Old age is the 2nd childhood".Care & Love to them is a must .

I agree with you that "Parents are precious and they can't be replaced by anybody. " Parents are pushed into old homes because after certain age childern don't think they can afford their parents due to many reasons .Wife hates their mother in laws if they can't afforf to give thier services to childern and them in family.

Actually the quoted lines from shakespeare are forgot by many young people who fail to take care of old age parents. They fail to understand the same old age can come into their life shortly and the way they ignored their parents their children will also do the same for them.
This is the time when proper care, medical attention to be given despite the fact the children always blame parents that they never understand them.

When roles are reversed, that is when the parents become the child and the child now becomes the parent, it is difficult to say. For me, i personally do not want to burden my sons. I'd prefer to go to an old age home where my needs will be cared for.
I do not however, plan to put my parents in an old age home because i know that they are more comfortable at our house than at the home. I also do not want them to feel that i am kicking them out or make them feel unwanted. All the best! - Lyn
