Most women always want to look fashionabel enough, because of the influence of the media, woman self confidence will growth when they look proper. that makes women always searching the best way to look skinny enough.
But Is it only the main precursor ? Won't they have another logical reason beside being skinny by weight loss program only to look proper? What about the health angle, will it make them healthier ?

weight loss? i don't think it's because of health. go to highschool and who do you see starving theirselves? the teenagers. and it's not in their nature to think of their health. a lot of people want to lose weight because of the influence of the media. we are so adherent with the standards of beauty that the media impose on us. those skin and bones models and artists that we see every day somehow get to our minds and dictate that what they are is what beauty means. being skinny is beautiful but they are not aware that improper weight loss could lead to deficiencies and health problems. all that risk just to meet the ill standards of the society. *sigh*

Health for me, if I was ever to go on a diet and lose weight it would be for health reasons, since diabeates runs on my moms side of the family, I want to make sure that I am healthy so I can live a long and fullfilling life with my sons and hopefuly grandchildren someday.
