I was watching Dr. 90210, last night, for those that never heard of the show or just don't watch it, It's a reality show where plastic surgeons preform procedures and you get to see the before, the actual procedure and the post op.
Last night, I got to thinking most of these women are getting breat implants, however some look quite young. My next thought was I wonder since I have never heard them talk about that on the show. Can a woman breastfeed after the breast implant surgery.
So my question to the Mylot community is after a woman has breast implants, can she successfully breastfeed? Do any of you watch Dr. 90210? If you have any stories you would like to share please do...

Great question! I never had a thought of such a complication by myself ,but when a cosmetic surgeon was discussing his experiences with a TV host and taking calls from patients ,this had come up though very subtly,as the woman calling wasn't free asking exactly what was on her mind. When the implants don't come in the line of the areola , it doesn't obstruct the flow of milk, but if the ducts are blocked with the kind of material used as implant then yes,it could affect the process.I feel a the doubts should be addressed before the operation otherwise it could pose post operative distress. This could be one big drawback of this surgery if not looked into before the operation is carried out.
