About 3 years ago, when my friends and I drove to another town nearby, we saw a little puppy running by the street. I couldn't help to stopped by. The puppy looks very cute from far, but when I get closer look, it was actually a hungry puggy struggling ver flea and skin problem. MY mate and I decided to bring it home and take care of her for awhile. We named her "piggy" because she looks like a baby pig with her pinkish skin color.
Piggy grows up pretty fast in a few month time. I was studying in Uni and have to go to work during the weekend. When I was not around, my housemate couldn't tolerate with its crazy running, jumping and barkings. Since we are sharing an apartment, it is against the rule of keeping a barking pet. It is so sad that I gotta let her go after living together for 3 months.
Honestly, i still missed her.

Its funny how we aquire our pets.
My sister and her family first had my dog. They came down one day and were talking about how they couldn't keep him anymore because they were moving somewhere that didn't allow pets.
So my Mom and I begged my Dad to keep him and that we did. He became a HUGE part of our family and I am so happy that my sister got him in front a grocery store. He is now 17 and I know I won't have much longer with him. But those 17 years have been the BEST I could ever imagine.

Wow... you are a lucky girl that get to be together with your beloved pet for 17 YEARS! I am hoping to get a dog soon, but knowing that all dogs has an average life of 20 years old, i...fear of separation again.

I had a dog that i got from a friend as a puppy, he was beautiful. A solid black german shepard, I loved him so much. He stayed with my while my husband was going through basic training, and god he chewed up everything. I thought that I was going to have to get rid of him, and almost did. However I gave him a chance and kept him, what do you know he quit chewing. The sad part of the story is, we are in the military. Being in the military we moved to georgia recently and i sadly couldn't take him with me because they said we couldn't have him (he was too big). I felt so bad taking him to the pound, I loved that do soo much. Whenever we tried to take him out to give him to the pound, he latched onto my leg and didn't want to go. I wish I still had him, I miss him soo.
