This is a multiple part question. Is it truelly possible to forget the the misdeed or hurtful words that you are forgiving? Is it easier to forgive one big mistake or a lot of small ones? What about forgiving the same misdeed over and over again? Is there ever a time to stop forgiving & forgeting, and rid yourself of the person causing the problems?

Well, I think you need to forgive.I don't think you can probably forget. Forgiving is an attitude of the mind, you have to decide to forgive, to let go of the hurts that the other party has caused. God teaches us to forgive and that means it does not stop, it is a life long process. It is very difficult but with God's help you can forgive. Allowing bitterness to take hold in your heart will cause you more pain and health problems.
