I don't think that Willie is a lucky person, especiallt in his show. If not for him having that show again, I think he would then be selling cars and tip-toeing to other channels just to add up some earnings for his living.
All I see to him is a petty hired hand, that gets payed everytime he opens his mouth. And would be glad whatever amount he recieves, like a devil flapping his ears. A very good opportunist, he grabs everything and uses everyone as his claim-to-fame.
Sorry, but I can't see anything good about him.

While what you say is true, could anyone say that Wowowee would be what it is today if not for Willie Revillame? Sure, with hiring him as a host comes the consequences of dragging along his past mistakes, his "kabastusan," and all that jazz, but I think that's just the point. When the show started, people thought about what would become of the new noontime show with Willie at the helm, but in the long run all the publicity and all the controversies just added fuel to Wowowee's fire. That host brought the electricity needed to jump start a new show, and with Eat Bulaga an obvious big competition, it was a necessary to pump up the show like that.
And from what I can see in the show today, that electricity still hasn't run out. I wonder for how long can Willie Revillame's novelty last?

actually, it's not my forte to do character assassination to anybody. who am i to judge someone? says a verse in the bible, "judge not so ye be not judge." so i would be kind enough to say positive things about willie revillame.
the good thing about him and his tv program, "wowowee", is that he has been an effective tool in alleviating the lives of our fellow filipinos who are living desperately. by way of the program, some of our countrymen,especially the lucky contestants, in an instant, has changed their lives..for the better.
so as to your question, i would say, leave behind his personal and private life exclusive to him alone. lest we forget that we commit mistakes,too.

yeah thanks for reminding me.. but as you said, i am only human and i get curious as to what is behind these TV personality.. you cannot erase curiosity and that is a fact.. sad to say that i am the kind of person who looks at another inside and out.. yes, good for him to have made the show successful and earned his way to the heart of filipinos but i can't help thinking about his life.. he's been so good to people and made everbody happy..why is he having problems like what he had with liz? i am not looking at his mistakes.. i am just after of what he TRULY is.. besides, it is very easy to wear masks in front of the camera, there's no denying that..it's just that before i get to accept a tv personality more, i need to know him better.. and besides again, i do not hate him at all.. in fact, i watch his show all the time and even sing his songs..

well, you said it. it's easy to wear masks when you're on camera...and they do that to make the audience entertained. remember the saying again, "the show must go on" no matter what had happened to you, since you are an entertainer, you have to perform and finish the show at all costs.
so whatever life he has, that is his private or personal choice so long as he is there entertaining a lot, including me and you.

ok.. if that is how you see things.. i respect it.. but i have nothing against him i tell you.. but he is a TV personality... they are just like politicians!! we have to know the background, well, that's for my side.. the background matters to me and you can't stop me from believing it..and besides, if in case he gets to tell me everything about himself, nothing's gonna change.. i don't really care.. it'sjust curiosity and nothing else.. peace man!!

i don't like Willie because he ridicules and make insults to the girls..some may think funny but then when you look at him he is not that good either as a host and as a comedian...with regards to his personal life i don't know much but with what i have read and seen on tv about him, he is a failure. so why do most of the poor idolize him that much? are they too blind to see? no wonder why the filipinos don't succeed because we idolize and patronize the wrong personalities.

Yeah i do agree with you andak,but for me,we can't judge person or indivuals by just seeing or looking them in spysical appearance.Its in the heart.And its not that filipinos don't suceed because we idolize and patronize the wrong personalities,,but its in you and how eager are you to succeed.Its all in your hands.

Well, I don't really care about Willie's personal life. If he's really a chickboy, then be it. As long as he performs well in his job as a host in Wowowee, then it's fine with me already. No one's perfect. Willie can commit mistakes like any other people. For as long as he'll continue to have a kind heart with his fellowmen and still willing to help the less fortunates, for sure, his good deeds will always be remembered from generation to generation. :)

Since the start of Wowowee, I've been wondering what's in this guy named Willie Revillame that he cant get booted out of Philippine TV. He's not that good as a host, he's not even good-looking, and worse, he's got one of the worst track records in showbiz... There is very little wonder why a beautiful lady would break up with him... He's of no worth to be paired to a Liz Almoro type of girl because he's the type of guy who cant be contented with a single partner. Apparently, as you've opened, now her girls at the show are in danger. I have reason to believe that this is true.. With his history, that's not impossible..

I really don't want to judge but I always make an exception in cases of tv personalities. I mean, hey, as James Yap said, they're "public" so that means it's a free for all, right? ;) kidding. But in the case of willie, of all the things he has done in national tv, plus the fact that he has "x" number of children who are all "first-borns" or as we say it here, "puro panganay" it makes me think that willie is a creep. He treats women like things.

yes indeed. in fact, i am not fond of judging people but the fact that they're tv personalities, then it's part of their job.. they have to expect that.. and i agree to you saying he treats women like things.. and i even think that he's making his way to win roxanne.. i hate to think it but as they say...46... hehehe.. thanks for response

Showbiz people are in the limelight and perhaps more than politicians they have to deal with many people. There are also many temptations. It is not remote that they develop special relationships. Whatever relationships they have, that is up to them. Any spouse of any celebrity should understand the situation of his/her spouse and if can't, then it becomes a worse problem. The Bible says Mind your own business.

he thinks that he is god that he can get away with everything..and he is even proud of what he is doing...and i do not really understand why mothers and lola's love him so much..i really could not grasp that...they go gaga over him and even cries and tell him the story of their life...when he could not care less.

so as to your question about willie revillame, i would be more kind enough to tell you that willie and abs-cbn has helped a lot to our fellow filipinos, the "masa". whether they be on top and second only to "eat bulaga" in tv surveys, i personally congratulate willie for his being an effective tool in alleviating the life of the few filipinos who are living desperately.

Willie is just a human, not perfect, like us.. can commit mistakes, and still have a chance to change like us... I can't say anything about the rumors... lolz... I dont know the real truth... about those dancers, janell and his wife...

As for me lets not hit the person based on the things that happen to his life as I can see Liz still loves her but unfortunately the parents doesnt like him for Liz.But all I can say lot of people love Willie just the way he are...

I don't know him personally, I don't mind also what he is doing with his personal life. But as a TV host he should be responsible with his actions and behavior in front of television. He should be tact and behave all the time because that's his primary responsibilities as a TV personality. Beyond that, I don't care who he is.

Men of such category are prone to be linked with women and if you're the wife and could not ignore what your husband is doing, then better separate from him to avoid further hurting each other and the children. It's really difficult on the part of the wife to bear such situation especially if your husband maltreats you.
