Shedding

Take a damp tea towel and rub the cat down. It helps take out a lot of loose hair. I have a 14 year old long hairded tabby and I use this on her all the time and have never had a major shedding problem.

I don't think my cat seems to be shedding any more than usual. She doesn't shed too much, though we do spot clumps of her fur hear and there every so often. She's a short hair and has the most amazingly glossy black coat, with cute iccle white feet, and a white belly & chin (which is really fluffy!). I make the mistake of picking her up in the morning before work wearing a white shirt! Bad idea!

My cats do not shed any more then usual in the s[ring. I have to clean up cat hair off things every day this is a normal thing in my house hold. I have seven cats so do the math not a fun job.

aha My cat started shedding too , i brush her a couple a times a week , and I'll try the towel thing too :P sounds cool :) . but anyhow my cat has short fur ..so i don't even notice musch of the haires ....but it's not good if u inhale it either ...so ....brushing time

I have 3 cats and they all shedd bad during the spring/summer times. It's crazy. I give them a good brushing at least once a week and they get a bath once every 2-3 weeks. It's the only way to somewhat control it for my cats.
