Is orkut the best friend's site?

Do you think orkut is the best friend making site now?Is there any other friends' sites you know where we can meet our old friends and make new friends?Are those better than orkut..I ve been to one called batchmates.com..But havenot gone through it in detail...

I think orkut is one of the best sites for making friends.I don't use orkut much but i have found lot of usefull information on different communities on orkut.I have also heard that orkut pays 1 paisa to orphans for every message you send to your friends on orkut.

yeah......orkut is the best place to meen old frnds, tearchers, and make frnds even with those u dunno nd help solve problems

Yes there are many many social networking sites on the net. I have come across orkut, hi5, tagged, batchmates... AS far as i have seen, orkut is the best as it is the widest network of people. We can definitely meet someone related somewhere to us on the website. Almost all of my friends are on orkut.
