Recently I read an article on how a 40yr old man and his wife locked his mother up in a room outside because she got on his nerves. He gave her 2 slices of bread a day. According to one of the grandchildren his mother gave her 4 slices one day. WOW, what a treat. This 68yr old woman went from wearing a size 40 to weighing 39kg before someone found out. She was very close to death and the photo's were horrendous. Her son and his wife are awaiting trial. The lady is being well taken care of in a state old age home now after being discharged from hospital, where she will spend the rest of her life. What makes a person behave so atrociously?

I would think that 68 is not that old. I don't want to depend on onyone when I am older. Not funny. God bless, I have good family, but I like my freedom. Freedom taste much better.

It is very messed up how these new generations treat the elderly. We treat them like a burden, when really they should be treated with dignity and respect, for most of us will be that age at one point, and we need to remember that. I cannot believe the recent horrific things that have been done to the elderly, The world needs to take a step back and realize these people, have lived their lives and contributed to this world, and we need to respect that and help them as much as we can.

I did not hear this (and probly a good thing).I think they both need to be shot. As i was reading i was sickened. I cant imagine doing that to any one never mind your own mother the women that gave birth to you.I hope they both rot in that bad place.
