there are no real credit cards that you can get without a credit check unless it's something that is backed by a deposit you make with the bank. it works more like a debit card because it draws on the money that you have in the deposit than a credit limit.
also, please be careful as having a credit card makes some people feel that they have "extra" spending money via the credit card. remember that you have to pay the balance off as soon as you can and try not to just pay the minimum, as you'll end up paying so much in interest. it's still best to live within your means by just using the money that you have on hand rather than spending with credit that translates to money you don't have, or, if you do buy on credit, make sure you have enough in the bank to pay it without a struggle. that way, you won't dig yourself into debt.

The only credit cards that I know of that don't require a credit check are pre-paid credit cards. Go to www.groups.yahoo.com and search the freecycle in your town. This is an email group where people get rid of stuff they no longer need and people can request stuff they do need. Everything has to be given away for free. Also if you tell me where you live I can look up some more community help for you.

Try HSBC.com they will let you pre qualify without the credit check also first premier bank, but I would not recommend them the fees are ridiculous. HSBC is a better card. Also, if your credit is limited or poor they may offer you a secured card as a starting point. Initially your limit may be low. but after about six months of good payment they will start to raise it.
