Photos on discussions

Ok, so I wanted to see what the big fuss was with posting pictures on the discussions, and see if it was worth the time in doing so. Well I posted 5 pictures on 5 different discussions and recieved one cent the whole day for photos, why is that? Are they not worth that much or what?

I posted 7 pictures under one of my interests and I got 1 cent per picture, a total of $0.7c. Not sure why it doesn't work when you post pictures to a discussion?!?

To be honest I hardly ever post photos on my discussions or respond with them, for one I keep forgetting to do so and another is being lazy, having to locate the image, write about the image, tag the image, it's time consuming and when I used to use Safari explorer for some reason the images never appeared so I gave up. So now I don't really bother.
