MBP electric shocks

Don't get me wrong. I love my MacBook, however I can't just ignore the fact that at times I got minor electric shocks when placing my hands on the keyboard while my MacBook was recharging its battery. I understand that the metal case might have something to do with this unpleasant occurrence, but however minor the electric shocks are, I can feel them. I don't think I need to be constantly reminded that I'm alive ...so does anyone here know if there's anything I can do to avoid this?

Oh my goodness, I can't believe that happens. It seems maybe like a wire is loose in the grounding between the powerline and the cord. Definitely take it in if it's still under warranty. Maybe there's also an issue with the grounding in the house. You may also want to try the discussion boards on apple.com or wikipedia. Hope this helps!

I was experiencing the same thing while my ipod was plugged into a computer but instead, my shock where so strong I threw my ipod into the air by reflex. First if your macbook is plugged into 220 volts or something besides 110 then this is probably the reason why. try plugging in the charger the opposite way and then try it, this worked for me.
