All of us I would wager have encountered famous people at one time or another. Mine was in 1978, I sat across from Sissy Spacek (actress for the non-USA members) and her husband at JFK airport in NYC while we were waiting for flights to Europe. They were very pleasant. It was a little weird for me because I had seen her in a movie a few years before that called "Prime Cut" where she...umm, let's say she left nothing to the imagination. OK, give me a break, I was only 19! LOL
So share your encounters with the famous or remotely-famous from all walks of life!

Rather many, I must confess. During my teen years we lived in an area of southern Spain that was a "playground" for the rich and famous. One of my boarding school roommates was (at least on paper) the heir to the throne of the Princely State of Hyderabad, in India. Another roommate was Mark Reid, son of British actor Sir Oliver Reid. Somewhere slightly later (probably 1978? 79?) I went on a (mostly) blind date with a princess from Yugoslavia. You may know her as Catherine Oxenberg. For a while, I had a Saturday morning golf game in a foursome with Sean Connery. I also went to school with his son, Peter.
MANY years later, in a much DIFFERENT life, I had a somewhat swank gift store in Austin, Texas. Over the years, customers included Loni Anderson, Willie Nelson, Sandra Bullock and Robert Redford.

I like to watch wrestling a couple years ago I went to watch it in the bell centre anyways we went to go to moes after and of course it was closed so we ended up walking to Mikes as in Mikes pizza there pizza isn't very good ,but we ended up there I met Stacey Keebler and Sable, I was like "oh my god is that Stacey Keebler?" My friend Mark was like " shutup I bought her a pitcher" I thought that was cool I also had a client who knew Hulk Hogan he has been to his house it seems more then once. I'm like cool, I think the world is small.

I have met Crystal Gayle, Simon LeBon of Duran Duran, The Reverand Horton Heat and his band, Jeff Healey, Ross Perot, Henry Rollins, Tony Hawk, Lt. Col. Colby Vokey. I have met lots of bands, but I don't count those as that is a given when you are friends with people who own clubs and promote shows. The ones I mentioned are the ones that I met by chance or by being in the right place at the right time, not people I met through my connections or social circle.

I've met a lot actually, mostly local celebrities here in the Philippines.. Some of them I even went to school with..
The last famous person I met was none other than the President of the Philippines, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, and some other politicians last Labor Day here in our country.. May 1, 2006.. I was in the Malacanang Palace (the Philippines' version of the White House) that day because I was one of the representatives sent by our company for the celebration.. I really dont like her (our President), but I had my picture taken with her together with the other representatives.. I even have a picture of her shaking hands with me.. It was a fun experience for me despite of all those corrupt officials around..

2.Robert miles (famous Dj)
3.I watched Adam sandler storm out of Mel's diner cause there was only one empty table and me and my friends had been waiting an hour for the table so the hostess told him we were first and he stormed out he was pretty pissed so he yelled at his entourage "let's get the f*@#% out of here and left.
4.I saw seth green at 6 flags we (me and my boyfriend) rode opposite him and his friend on X but it's not like we got to know each other it was a roller coaster and all.
5. Paul Oakenfold - just for an autograph
6. Razel - hung out before a show he did in Houston and I had back stage access
I have met a lot of other "famous" Dj's but unless you where really into techno in the early to late 90's you would have no clue who I was talking about.

Well I used to wait tables and I have waited on both Hulk Hogan and the Undertaker (not at the same time nor the same restaurant). Those are wrestlers for people not familiar. Hulk Hogan was there with his wife and kids. He ordered two burgers just for himself. They were all very pleasant.
And I met Al Gore the year he was running for VP when he was in Sarasota Fla. I can't say I got to know him very well, but at least I met him
