Anyone Who Likes Rent Should Read This Book

Without You is a book that I reccomend to anyone who is into either the stage or movie version of Rent. It's By Anthony Rapp, the guy who played Mark in the original cast, as well as in the movie version. The book is a memoir dealing with his mothers cancer and dath, as well as being in the musical, and the stresses that come with it. Anoyone who likes Rent will love this book.

I felt the exact same way. Especially when he lost it on his boyfriend. How could you not feel for him when he wwas going through so much?

I love Rent, worship (and stalk) Anthony Rapp, and absolutely adored this book. It was amazing. I actually went to a book signing for it, and listened to Anthony talk about writing it and such. He's such a sweetheart.I feel honored to have seen both him and Adam Pascal live during their final tour of Rent.

Thanks for the advice. I fell in love with the movie before I had even seen it. All it took to hook me was the main song...Seasons of Love. That is the most awesome song followed very closely by No Day But Today. I will definately have to get the book. Once again, thanks!

I got mine last year on the day it came out. Then I read it within two days. Anthony is my favorite actor of the original cast. And Mark is also my favorite from the play. This book should be read by every Renthead. Even if you aren't a Renthead, it's something that is so amazingly honest.

I will have to read the book . I saw rent when the show came to pittsburgh in april and was just blown away . I have always been a huge fan of Adam and Mark . They both seem like real nice people off the stage as well . Thanks !

I absolutely loved Rent, and i adore Mark! It might be fun to read this book. Let's seee how Anthony Rapp fares with writing.
