update on my mom 3

well today my mom left the hospital to start on her life ina new home assistant livig place.
Right now my Brother and his wife have her home trying to pick out what she wants to take with her.Person clothes and things .They have already moved what furniture she could take. She seem really up on going to this place and sounds like they have picked a perfect room for her . Where she will have a lady on each side of her to get to know.
In a month I am going up and us 3 kids are to decide where the rest of the stuff goes,and that is going to be a chore she has so much that she hasnt already gave away.
I am so sad that this had to happen to her .I guess I thought I would always go to see her in this house that we moved into in 1950. Didnt think it would affect me this way but it is.
Thanks for every ones prayers I beleive this helped alot tho she didnt know the whole world was praying for her.

It's nice to hear your Mom will have company w/ her @ her new place. Try to stay strong honey especially when you take the kids to visit I know how difficult it can be to handle everyone at the same time.
I'm still praying for your family|:)
When you feel some sadness coming on just think of the woman your Mom was before all this-she's still in there, you also look in the mirror & see what a great daughter she raised.

daughter can handle herself its grand daughter I wonder about for she has only seen her a few time and she talks to her on the phone she looked at me the other day while talking to momma and said with a question on her face gate mammaw?
which is great grandma I told her yup and thens she talked away like she could really understand and I was haveing a hard time at it . Mom is talking better each day

Aah Lakota I'm glad your mum is going to be in such a nice place. It's good that she'll have company and someone watching over her it'll take the strain off the rest of the family. It must be horrible though to think that you'll have to clear out and sell your old home, what a wrench for you. Just think though that your mum will be looked after and will have her familiar things around her so she'll be much happier and can get settled quicker. Don't be sad for her just think of it as a new beginning for her as she'll have lots of company and be safe. x

I am sure you have picked a nice place for her to live. I have already looked at different places myself just in case I ever need to go to one. I they have good food and she makes some friends you will be surprised at how happy she'll be.

My bro and sis did pick the place I called 3 years ago when we thought she might have to go.I just hope she never has to go to a rest home . I have heard and seen some hgow the treat people and I would have to go shoot someone if I found out someone hurt her

I am so glad that your mum is fit enough to leave hospital and start over in a new home! I know it must be hard to see her leave fthe family home and move into assisted living honey but as she seems positive and will be able to have company whenever she feels like it perhaps it is for the best! I will continue to pray that your mum settles in happily and that you have some peace of mind over this! xxx
