What heart condition are you dealing with?

I have a congenital heart defect known as a VSD (ventricular septal defect). I am 39. Not very many adults are walking around with this defect as most had it repaired as a child. Because of this I cannot get insurance and medicaid and/or medicare won't help me because it is not life threatening in and of itself. I have however found a resource to help people with heart conditions who have no insurance. It's the Larry King Cardiac Foundation. YOu can contact them at http://www.LKCF.org. I have filled out my forms and am awaiting approval for surgery from them, which I was already told I qualify for. I hope this can help someone else out there!

Aortic Pulmonary Stenosis in my 5 year old son. He was born with it and they did the surgery when he was stable at 2 weeks (he had some othe stuff too). He's doing ok so far. Still has to do the antibiotics before invasive stuff like cavities getting filled and the like. And of course he likes to scare us every so often by doing stuff like getting scarlet fever (2 years ago). He's very bouncy and has never once turned blue on us...which really fooled the dr.'s when he was first born. Next Saturday we'll be going to a field trip with a group that is partly sponsored by Texas Children's. I'm always interested in what other folks have to deal with and if there are any new bits of information I should know about. I also know how scary going through some of it can be so support for others (and sometimes from) is always nice to have on hand.

bundle branch block heart murmur and in love and she isn't gonna get with me I think it hurts bad I don't even mind if she gets with women sometimes. It just makes me jealous, not angry, I want some too, thats all.
