On taking pills

I was just wondering if the 6-day or 7-day gap of not taking pills and making love with your hubby will get you pregnant. I am taking oral pills and I don't want to make love during those days that I don't take my pills. Not yet ready to have another baby. I wanna enjoy my first baby. Please advise.
