Do you think child molesters should get the death penalty?

I think people that molest children should get the death penalty. I know that some people think that murder is the only thing that should warrant the death penalty but truthfully molesting a child is like a murder. It's a murder of ones spirit or soul. Yes, people can find peace and healing after they were molested but they also have to live with it for a lifetime. What do you think?
