I LOVE cheese, but it doesn't love me :-(

I really love eating cheese, in sandwiches, on toast (melted), on cheese biscuits etc. I also love those cheese dipper things and mini-cheeses like Babybel. However, it's a one-way thing and non-reciprocal. Cheese just doesn't like/agree with me! When i eat cheese i find it flares up my eczema and brings out me in horrible angry red, itchy rashes, mostly on the areas of my skin most eczema prone. I still like to eat my cheese but have to be very careful not to mess my skin up in the process! I'm even worse with butter, so bad that i avoid it, but then again i'm not overly keen on it anyway and am happy sticking to margarine. Anyone have similar problems?

For me, it's gastrointestinal symptoms. Cheese tends to give me crippling gas pain in the middle of the night and many times gives me constipation. Unfortunately, mozzarella cheese is the biggest culprit of them all for me, which really makes me mad because I love pizza. Other types of cheese don't seem to affect me as much.

oh no! I don't know what I'd do if I were alergic to cheese. I think cheese must be my most favored food. In most any variety. of course there was that cheese and fruit tray the cabin boy brought to me on our cruise - on the one night I was feeling queezy and did not go to dinner. AUGH! what a sweet thought but it was Limburger cheese! that stench was enough to make me sick even if the ships movement wasn't!

I'm allergic to eggs.Whenever my sis or anyone in the family eats hot steaming fluffy omelettes,I really feel like eating, but then control my self. Luckily I am okay with eggs in cake.I can have cakes without developing any allergy.

I am soooo sorry, I can't imagine my life without cheese. Cheese is one of my favorite foods of all time, any kind of cheese. That means you can't eat cheesecake, that's awful. I know I'm making you feel worse instead of better, I'm sorry. A nice thing then, at least you're not allergic to bread, you can eat donuts.

In Italy there are so many variety of cheese and they are almost all very good. So it's impossible to resist. Luckly I' don't have problems with cheese. The only trouble is that it's very easy to put on weight eating it.

Oh that's horiible. I'm lactose intolerant and eat cheese. I know what can happen but I just eat it in moderation. I no longer order anything with cheese at a restuarant...just in case. But everyday it gets eaten at home in one shape or another. Maybe your doctor can help with this? Good luck.
