Do you think downloading with dap is better than the default download bar.In my view dap is the best it can suspend the download when you need .You can again resume it.It divides the things which would be going to download into 4 parts & again joins them.

Yes, it divide the download process which makes multiple connections to the files being downloaded and provides you with more better and faster download speed. It is absolutely better than the old classic built in manager for download. It often crashes and makes your download slow. Anyways DAP might be the best download manager out there. Happy downloading.

All accelerators typically split the file into smaller parts. That's how they work. DAP is great for optimizing broadband speed since downloading smaller packages is way faster and will not hog the line too much. I like DAP for its simplicity and ease of use.

I currently use flashget to accelerate my downloads.
It's the same type of software. They split downloaded files to many parts, and join them when download is finished.
Which one is faster? I don't think I know.

Yes DAP is better than default download bar in Dap you can resume your download when you need. Some sites not allowed you to download with dap, and some sites not support resume downloads, but in full version DAP force sites to resume downloads. It is 2-5 times faster than default download bar.
