i'm currently standing on 81 pounds. it is not healthy and i've been doing stuff so that i'll be able to reach at least 100 pounds. my ideal weight is 115 pounds, which means i am really underweight.
i entered a gym wherein my program is weight gain. i gained a few pounds but then i got sick which made me lose weight again.
i want to feel good about myself.

Stick with the gym thing. If you build up muscle you will weigh more. Muscle weighs more than fat. Also try to eat foods high in protein.

Well fish is very healthy for you, but if you are allergic to it or just can't stand the taste, then you don't have to eat it. I'd suggest white meat from chicken or turkey mostly with some beef here and there. Soy is also a good source of protein if you don't feel like you are in the mood for meat. Can also add some dairy and eggs in too but not too many eggs because it can be high in cholesterol.

Wish I could offer you some advice here but have the same problem as you as I am underweight as well and have been my whole life .
There is a drink you can buy at the Pharmacee , but not sure if you would have it in your area and it is supposed to help you gain weight and is very healthy , it is the same as the weight watchers drinks they have for individuals trying to lose weight but this one is to help you gain weight . It is a shake and comes in Chocolate , Vanilla and Strawberry . Might be something you could check into :)
All the best !!

we have the same problem, lol.
i think you need to rule out illnesses that causes poor weight. my sister had been losing weight for some unknown reason although she is already thin but not underweight. soon, she had been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. actually, i haven't done a check-up with a doctor regarding that because i don't feel the symptoms (oh no, very bad indeed). but, i soon will be seeing a doctor.
second, they say sleeping late would slow down your metabolism, but i don't think that is really advisable. cause that's not healthy period.
third, try eating more honey. i mean, i am eating at least thrice as much as you do but i'm still underweight, so it's not quite surprising in your case. what i can recommend is: (1) you eat mostly your favorite foods so you increase appetite. (2) drink milk (it really is helpful, i have gone from 100 lbs to 113lbs in a month, but now im back to 100 cos of stress) and (3) vitamins.
oh by the way, ask your doctor about some kind of illness that makes you allergic or something with gluten. a substance found in most foods. the thing is, if it enters your body, your immune system will think that it is some kind of foreign substance and your small intestine immediately shuts down. now, this is bad since the small intestine is generally what absorbs the nutrients of what we eat.
good luck! (to both of us)

well...all I can tell you is to increase your calorie-diet intake, for instance, if you are taking in 2000 calories a day, you might want to increase it to 2500 calories a day for a while until you reach your goal. Also working out can put some muscle on your body which can make you gain a little weight.

the prob is, i get full easily. like i can eat half cup rice and be full. but the nutritionist said that i can just have small portions of meals but at numerous times a day. like 6-7 small meals throught the whole day.
and i don't eat most vegetables and fruits. how is that?
