I wouldn't encourage pull ups as you are only in the beginning stages of training by the sounds of it . I would try the panties and you can get the little plastic underpants to put over them to help with the accidents she is bound to have . Once she has better control then you could move to the pull ups for long drives or at night . They are actually quite expensive and the children become dependent on them as they hold much more then panties would for sure and the they feel more secure in using these more like a diaper . Best of luck !!

I guess this is my problem too because am using pull-ups on her. She still does pee on the pull-ups but do the other thing in the bathroom. I guess starting tomorrow, I have to let her use her cute undies all the time. She enjoys wearing them now. On the other hand, it will save me lots of money if I stop buying those pull-ups. Am glad you started this discussion coz I was able to get some ideas too.

Don't use pull-ups!!! All they do is confused the poor child because to them they feel like a diaper. We tried pull-ups with both of our kids(one boy and one girl) and all it did was delay the potty training process. We finally stopped using them and went straight to plain underwear and it worked a lot better. My son was completely potty trained in one week and my daughter was done in about 3 weeks. If I was you I would just put her in regular underwear/panties and put one of the plastic liners over that. They sell them at Wal-mart and they help to keep the kids clothes dry, if they pee the underwear. Good luck with your potty training!
